Pear-Apple-Cranberry with Walnut Crumble
Lucious pears and apples baked together with tart cranberries in a single pie crust and topped with a sweet walnut crumble. This was one of the original 7 Hoosier Mama pies and has been on our Thanksgiving menu since 2005. In 2005 we were baking in a shared use kitchen and Thanksgiving production was about 40 some pies. It is more now.
Filling ingredients: Pears, apples, cranberries, sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, tapioca starch, salt, Chinese 5-spice Crumble: Walnuts, flour, sugar, brown sugar, butter, salt
Crust ingredients: Flour, sugar, salt, butter, water, red wine vinegar
Allergens: Walnuts.
Care: Refrigeration not required for first 3 days.
